Introduction to producer responsibility for textiles

Producer responsibility for textiles is expected to enter into force in Denmark in mid-2027, with full implementation by April 2028 at the latest.

The responsibility comes with a number of obligations for the producers covered.

In this webinar, we provide an introduction to the preliminary framework that EU legislation has established for producer responsibility. Our experience is that it is a good idea to prepare well in advance for a new producer responsibility regime.

The legislation has been drafted as a directive, which gives individual countries the flexibility to introduce variations in their national implementation.
